For three days, the National Exhibitions Centre (NEC) at Birmingham will be the hub of the automotive aftermarket and the road transport industry. Attracting thousands from all areas of the aftermarket industry including independent garages, bodyshops, motor factor, fast fit or parts and accessory retailers plus senior management it has become a hotbed to meet with existing and potential suppliers and establish new business relationships.

Automatic Test Lane

Crypton are exhibiting their highly anticipated new automatic test lane (ATL) system at this years show. The automated test lane allows an MOT to be entirely carried out by one person. This MOT test station has been sanctioned by the Vehicle & Operator Services Agency (VOSA) and brings the UK in to line with European legislation allowing MOT workshops to earn additional income by freeing up staff.

You will also find that an automatic test lane is not only invaluable as an MOT test station allowing you to carry out MOT tests alone, it also works as a workstation for fixes to be carried out before the test and as a safety test lane for identifying potential trouble spots in a vehicles performance.
